Attendance & Commitment: Flexible with Accountability: While the Community Track is relaxed, regular attendance is encouraged to get the most out of the program. Consistent participation will enhance your learning experience and help you connect more deeply with the community. Engage & Enjoy: Attending classes regularly will enrich your experience, deepen your dance practice, and strengthen your connections within the community. We understand that life can be busy, but prioritizing your participation will maximize what you gain from the program. Progression & Growth: Your Path, Your Choice: There’s no pressure to advance to the next level unless you choose to. If you’re serious about progressing your skills but prefer a more informal approach, you can opt into relaxed assessment days. These casual evaluations allow you to demonstrate your progress and, if successful, move up to the next level, offering flexibility in your dance journey. Skill Checkpoints & Assessments: Growth without Pressure: The Community Track is not a certificate program. However, to help you track your progress and advance if desired, we offer “skill checkpoints” in the middle and at the end of each semester. These are casual evaluations where you can showcase specific skills you’ve learned. Optional Assessment Days: Instead of formal exams, we provide optional assessment days where you can present your progress. You’ll receive feedback on your development and guidance on whether you’re ready to move to the next level or should continue honing your current skills. While you can participate in midterm and final exams if you wish, they will not be graded, and no detailed feedback will be provided. The focus is on personal growth and enjoying your dance journey at your own pace. Minimum Attendance Expectation: Stay Engaged: We recommend attending at least 75% of classes to truly benefit from the program. While the attendance policy is more lenient, consistent participation is key to making the most of your experience in the Community Track.
